About the College
Health and Medical Technology is one of the important colleges in technical education, as it occupies a unique scientific position in the academic scientific field. It plays an effective and influential role in the technical, health and medical field, thus it meets the needs of society and the requirements of the labor market. Based on the above, the (College of Health and Medical Technology) was created in 2023, with two departments; (physical therapy techniques and optics techniques) for the purpose of preparing specialized cadres to work in health and medical institutions at the level of Salah Al-Deen Governorate. According to scientific specifications standards, and to develop the teaching staff and students in the fields of scientific and cognitive research, which is the scientific base of the department and other institutions, as well as expanding the horizons of scientific cooperation with technical colleges, and related institutions in order to achieve continuous high-quality and interaction.

- Preparing health and medical cadres who are professional and skilled in various fields of health and medical technologies, so that they can meet the requirements of the current and future of society and have a distinguished position at the local and regional levels.

- Meeting the community’s needs for specialized and scientific cadres who have the ability of constantly developing, and who are qualified to provide high-quality of health, medical and technical services by adopting the latest technologies and educational methods, in addition to participating in conducting scientific research that contributes to community service.

- Preparing graduates with high scientific and technical skills in various fields of health and medical technology who are qualified to work efficiently.
- Enhancing the role of technical education and its effectiveness in the knowledgeable and educated society.
