Visit of the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate / Saladin Branch

The President of the Iraqi Academics Union – Salahuddin Branch, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Atiya Zabbar, visited the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Dour and met with the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Maqsood Adel Mahmoud. In the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Luay Manna Ibrahim. The president of the union offered congratulations to the dean on the occasion of his new position, praising the role of the college in developing higher education and promoting scientific research.

During the visit, Mr. President of the Syndicate supervised the elections of the academics’ representative in the college. The elections resulted in the selection of Assistant lecturers. Nour Amer Fadel was elected as the representative of the teachers in the syndicate. The Dean congratulated Ms. Nour Amer on her victory, wishing her success in her new role, and stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the union and the college administration in order to serve the teaching staff and contribute to achieving the goals of higher education.

The President of the Syndicate pointed out the importance of the Syndicate’s role in supporting academics and enabling them to perform their research and educational tasks efficiently. He also emphasized the need to enhance joint work between the union representatives and academic institutions to achieve scientific and professional progress.

The visit concluded by emphasizing the importance of activating the union’s roles to support teachers and overcome the obstacles they face, thus contributing to improving the educational and research environment within the college.
