Job performance appraisal

The College of Health and Medical Technologies - Al-Dour organizes a seminar entitled the importance, concept and objectives of job performance evaluation.

Under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Maqsood Adel Mahmoud, the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division organized a seminar entitled (The importance, concept and objectives of job performance appraisal.) in cooperation with the Department of Physiotherapy Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies.

Presented by Assistant Lecturer Nada Wahab Ahmed, in the presence of a number of faculty members and those interested in administrative and developmental affairs.

The seminar dealt with the concept of job performance evaluation as a strategic tool in human resources management, and one of the essential foundations for improving the efficiency of employees and enhancing their productivity.
It also focused on the main objectives of the evaluation process, including: Raising productive efficiency, improving employee performance, uncovering work obstacles, and identifying qualified individuals to fill leadership positions.

The lecturer emphasized that performance appraisal is not limited to measuring results, but is a means of identifying training and development needs, and is an important step in achieving organizational justice and raising the level of professionalism in the work environment.

Recommendations:

The seminar concluded with a number of recommendations, most notably the need to use the results of performance appraisal as a tool to improve the quality of work and address the shortcomings of employees, which reflects positively on the workflow and success of the organization.
